As I stand here surrounded by remnants of wrapping paper, ribbon clippings, bows, and scotch tape stuck to the bottom of my shoes, I can’t help but smile looking back over the last few months.  It’s all been a blur of activity… seven exhibits, multiple art markets, poetry readings, workshops, classes, and parties.

When we opened September 1st we had no idea how welcomed we would be, and how many new friends we’d make, we certainly have much to be thankful for this year!

We’re also very excited about some changes that will be happening around here in the coming year, but for now, as the holiday season winds down, 2011 draws to an end, and we all gather with our family and friends, we wanted to take a moment to Thank You for your support over the past few months and wish you and yours a very Happy Holiday season!

If you’re like me, you stepped outside this morning and thought what a lovely warm day, feels like spring!   Then you realized that it’s only a week until Christmas!

But no worries… our elves will be working hard to keep all your favorite goods in stock for gift giving this season.  Avoid the hustle and bustle of the malls this year and shop in a relaxed atmosphere.

And yes, we gift wrap for FREE!!!

So throw on a t-shirt, a pair of shorts, and a santa hat…wrangle up the crew, and head on over to Plaza Muse for all your last-minute holiday shopping needs!

We currently carry over a dozen varieties of locally made chocolate truffles and confections from Davidson Chocolate.  Let me tell you, it’s plenty hard having them hanging out in the case beside me all day.  They call at me from under their sparkling glass domes, all drizzled with chocolate… topped with toasted coconut, toffee bits, or sea salt… or dusted with confectioners sugar, peppermint, or gold dust (24k I’m sure, and the price of gold is going up every day, so get em now before the folks at Davidson Chocolate find out)

Don’t tell anyone… but I just had a dark chocolate covered pretzel (or two) myself, four come in a package for only $2.50, and I’m guessing that by the time you get here, no evidence will remain of this casualty.  So, I claim it never happened (as I adjust the inventory count in the point of sale system)

We know of course, that you’ll be buying chocolates for a “gift” so we’ll even package them up in a pretty, shiny, chocolate-brown box and bundle them up with ribbon, so you can do just that!  Of course, we also know that by the time you get to your car, they’ll be all gone… hence the pretty turquoise curling ribbon you’re likely to find blowing all around our parking lot.

But what the hey, It’s Christmahanakwanzika, so Indulge!  We promise we won’t tell
